Christopher M. Sherwood

Christopher Sherwood was born on Long Island, New York, and grew up living in several East Coast states, though he always spent time and had his eye on the Mountain West. Ultimately, he moved to Laramie to attend law school, earning his Juris Doctor from the University of Wyoming College of Law. Christopher graduated with honors in 2013 and was inducted into the Order of the Coif. While in law school, he published a comment in the Wyoming Law Review and later served on the journal’s editorial board.

Following law school, Christopher clerked for the Honorable Thomas T.C. Campbell in the Laramie County District Court. Before entering the legal profession, he spent nine years working in a small bank trust department, providing him with a strong foundation and passion for fiduciary services and trust and probate estate administrations.

Christopher’s practice focuses on Estate Planning, Real Estate, Family and Small Business Planning, Trust Administration, and Probate. He also serves as a director of a family-owned, United States–based manufacturing company, giving him valuable insight into the legal and practical needs of closely-held, family businesses.

Christopher and his wife, Alice, are proud to make Sheridan their home. When he’s not in the office, they take every opportunity to get outside and can often be found, or hopefully not found, camping and wading their favorite rivers and streams, enjoying the very best Wyoming has to offer.
